NAIROBI- A section of online netizens claim that the generator which is yet to be delivered to Wajir county was secured by Wajir North MP Ibrahim Saney while on the contrary another section of contending online birds maintain that the generator was procured by Wajir East MP Adan Daud.
Frontier Online team has in the past 24 hours been keeping a close eye on the war of words put into writing between the two factions.
The proponents of both leaders appraised their politico for successfully lobbying for a generator.

Moreover, both leaders have claimed credit for the procurement of the generator that is set to address the power blackout in the county.
While addressing journalists in Nairobi on 7th March, Wajir North MP Ibrahim Saney said the county residents have endured unendless power outages that has paralyzed business in the county.
The MP said time was ripe to deal with the perennial power outages once and for all promising a new generator before the beginning of Ramadan.
” I am today happy to announce that there will be a new generator before Ramadhan.” said Saney.

However, his Wajir East counterpart Adan Daud Mohamed commonly known as ADM has on Monday broke the news that a new generator has been procured for the county after series of meetings and letters to the the Kenya Power Lighting and Company ( KPLC).
In what appeared to be acclaiming the success of a climax of power outages in the county, Mr. Daud said through his efforts he secured a generator for the county and initiated the procurement of a new generator which he said will bring to an end the power outages in the county.

Meanwhile, in the midst of this online hullabaloo and onslaught is the unsuspecting innocent county residents who is suffering in silence following successive failure by the county and National officials to address the power quagmire in the county.
The county residents have blamed the power utility of making them loss millions of Shillings after failing to replace the old generator.
KPLC Wajir branch operates on a diesel-fueled generator to swerve the sprawling county with new settlements witnesses in the town following the migration of people from rural areas after losing their livestock to drought and natural calamities.
Former President Uhuru Kenyatta and the incumbent William Ruto have successively pledged to address the power problems in Wajir but to no avail.
