Lafey Member of Parliament Mohamed Abdikheir visited Kheira Ali Primary School to inaugurate newly constructed classrooms funded by the Lafey constituency NG-CDF for the fiscal year 2023-2024.

The visit marked a significant step towards enhancing educational infrastructure in the region, aligning with the MP’s commitment to improving access to quality education.

During the visit, Abdikheir announced that the school would receive two new teachers, a request made by local residents eager for improved educational resources.

.”Today, we take a monumental step forward. Education is not just a luxury; it is a right for every child,” he stated, emphasizing the importance of responsive governance.

Following his visit to Kheira Ali Primary School, Abdikheir proceeded to Bambo Primary School, where he officially opened an Administration Block funded by the NG-CDF.

The MP also  presided over the groundbreaking ceremony for a new Grade 9 classroom to be constructed by the Ministry of Education.

“These new facilities will empower our children and provide a conducive environment for our students,” he remarked.

The MP concluded his educational tour at Gari Primary School, where he opened another Grade 9 classroom also built by the Ministry of Education.

“Investing in our schools is investing in our future,” Abdikheir asserted. “My leadership will prioritize infrastructure development for schools to achieve access to quality education for the great people of Lafey constituency.”

Abdikheir was accompanied by Members of the County Assembly, including Mr  Mahat Ibrahim Hassan (Alungu) Mr Adan Hussein Wiriq (Lafey), as well as county directors of education and representatives from the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

This day marks a renewed commitment from the leadership of Lafey constituency to foster educational development, reflecting their dedication to nurturing the next generation and ensuring that every child has access to quality education.
