Day two of the Kenya Youth Inter-County Sports Association (KYISA) Games delivered another exciting round of action at various venues across Homa Bay County, with teams showcasing raw talent, resilience, and tactical brilliance in front of an enthusiastic crowd.

After a commanding 3-1 win in their opening match against Busia, Wajir County was held to a 1-1 draw by a determined Makueni side.

Wajir struck first with a swift counterattack, but Makueni equalized shortly after with a team effort that sliced through the defense.

The second half saw end-to-end action, but both sides failed to convert their chances. Wajir now moves to four points, while Makueni earns their first.

Garissa and Trans Nzoia counties played to a 0-0 draw in their men’s football match at the 10th KYISA Games in Homa Bay.

Kilifi silled a win against Nakuru county  in a match filled with midfield battles and few clear-cut chances.

Homa Bay County kicked off their KYISA campaign with two big wins — edging Embu County 2-1 and thrashing Tana River 5-0.

The back-to-back victories put them in a strong position in their group and fired up the home crowdLamu shines over Migori county Lamu County edged out Migori County 2-0 in today’s KYISA Games football match held in homabay county.

The KYISA Games continue to provide a national stage for young athletes to shine. Scouts and coaches are keeping a keen eye on standout performers who are quickly becoming household names among fans attending the matches.

With quarter finals set for tomorrow, the excitement in Homa Bay continues to build.

All eyes will be on counties battling for the remaining quarter final spots as the tournament progresses.
