This is not the first time that ATMIS especially the Burundi contingent troops has extended support to the communities living in their jurisdiction.
Recently, the Burundi forces serving under the African Union Mission in Somalia provided humanitarian support to vulnerable families living in Towfiq IDP camp.
The humanitarian relief support significantly impacted on the lives of the refugees who were struggling to make ends meet especially during this time of national crisis caused by diverse natural calamities including the current spring rains across the Horn of Africa Nation.
