SAKU, MARSABIT – It is a sigh of relief for DCI officers based in Saki constituency in Marsabit, after the local area leadership unveiled and commissioned new modern set of offices following years of working from a makeshift.
The construction was championed by the Saku Constituency MP Hon. Col (RTD) Dido Ali Rasso championed for the construction of the offices through the NG-CDF funds in an effort tailored dignifying the working conditions of security personnel in the area, who for a long time operated from a donated clinical health container.
The auspicious commissioning ceremony was presided over by the Director DCI Mr Mohamed Amin presided over the commissioning of the new offices and was attended by among other local leaders, the Senator Marsabit County Hon. Mohamed Chute and Hon. Dido Rassi.
Detectives in the sub-county now boast of modern features and amenities that will contribute immensely in service delivery to the members of the public.

Speaking at the ceremony , Dido hailed work done by the security personnel in the area, pledging to build the morale of the officers.
He was backed up by his counterpart Hon. Chute in calling for more action in addressing the security situation in the area, pledging his unwavering support to the security operators.
DCI Director , Amin expressed his appreciation to the MP and Saku people for construction of the offices and urged the officers based on the area to continue effectively discharging their duties.
The DCI boss later in the day addressed contingents of security apparatus in the security sector including General Service Unit, Quick Response Unit, APS offices, Kenya Forest and Kenya Wildlife Services.
He stressed the need to harmoniously collaborating with the local communities in a bid to bolster their efforts in maintaining law and order and arresting crimes in the area.
Amin was accompanied by the Director Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau Mr John Onyango, Director Logistics Mr Joseph Kioni, RCIO Eastern Mr Lenny Kisaka, Personal Assistant to the DCI Mr Lawrence Some, Director Liaison and Corporate Communications Mr John Marete among other senior officers.
