MOGADISHU-Somali parliament speaker Sheikh Aden Madobe has on Sunday departed Mogadishu for Netherlands.
While in Netherlands, Madobe is expected to hold talks with his Dutch counterpart in Amsterdam on strengthening cooperation between the two Assemblies.
The Lower House Speaker is accompanied by a number of members of the Federal Parliament.

Saadiya Yassin Samatar now becomes the acting President of the Horn of the Africa Nation following the departure of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Speaker Madobe on Foreign trips.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud had on Saturday left the country for Kampala, Uganda to attend Uganda’s 60th independence Day celebrations.

Saadiya Yassin is the Deputy Speaker of the Lower House.
Samatar made into the annals of history earlier this year when she became the first woman elected to top leadership in Somalia’s largely patriarchal parliament.
