This is the fourth term that Aden Duale has been elected into National Assembly and is among the few leaders who have retained the seats despite political turbulence that saw many of the Northern Kenya leaders floored in the last general election.
If approved by Parliament, Duale will serve as the Defence Minister in the next five years thus making him forfeit his parliamentary seat .
Among those names to serve in President Ruto’s Cabinet include; Kithure Kindiki who has been nominated as Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration, Njuguna Ndungu to take over the National Treasury while former Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa who has been appointed as Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Gender and Affirmative.
