Garissa county Woman Representative Amina Udgoon Siyad on Sunday attended a mass wedding ceremony in Garissa, where 43 couples tied the knot.

The large scale nuptial ceremony was supported and facilitated by the county government of Garissa.

The colourful event was also graced by family and friends of the brides and grooms , prominent sheikhs, the Governor of Garissa, former MPs , Major Dekow, MCAs.

Udgoon wished all the best to the newlyweds and happiness as they embark on a new chapter of in their lives

In December last year, Mandera East MPHussein Weytan similarly sponsored a wedding for 25 couples from poor families to seal their union.
