NAIROBI– NCBA Bank has today opened its 90th branch at Eastleigh’s Business Bay Square (BBS) Mall bringing the Bank’s nationwide footprint to 90 branches.
Kamukunji MP Yussuf Hassan inaugurated the branch and urged all local businesses, to seize this opportunity to harness the resources and expertise offered by the bank.
The MP outlined that the opening of the bank will not only contribute to creation of employment for the masses but also render training and advancement to young workforce and bolster the bank’s economic prospects in Eastleigh.
“The emerging enterprises in Eastleigh not only contribute to job creation but also offer valuable prospects for the training and advancement of our young workforce.”

He further exhorted the bank to give jobs to young people in Eastleigh and its environs noting that a number of young people are unemployed.
Speaking during the opening, the branch manager Morris Malonza said that the launching of the new Eastleigh branch is meant to foster transformational growth and contribute to the success of the mushrooming Eastleigh neighborhood.
“We envision more than just banking services for Eastleigh. We’re here as partners in progress, dedicated to entrepreneurs, dreamers, and doers. By fostering transformational growth, we contribute to Eastleigh’s success and Kenya’s advancement.” he said.
He added that the bank is committed to providing high level and world class financial solutions through range of products and services to its esteemed customers.
Currently, the group has total of 23 branches in Nairobi county and says it intends to continue ratcheting up its branch network in 2023 by opening ten new branches by the end of the year.

Among the dignitaries present were Titus Mwithiga, NCBA Group Director for Retail Banking, Eastleigh Business Community Chief Executive Officer as well as renowned business and civic leaders drawn from the Eastleigh community.
