MOGADISHU– Somalia Police Commissioner, Gen. Sulub Ahmed visited police officers undergoing training course in Mogadishu.
Gen. Sulub inspected the officers on Thursday at General Kahiye police Academy.
Gen. Sulub urged the officers to take their training exercise very serious so that they can help the Somali people with terrorism and the drug scourge.
He emphasized government commitment to supporting them in their entire course.

The officers displayed parts of their rigorous training to their visiting commander.
He was accompanied by top police chiefs in the Somali Police force.
Somali government has on recent months stepped up its efforts to enlist new officers in the force in a bid to bolster the work of the police force in dealing with scourge of criminal activities happening in the city and to foster government’s efforts to fighting with Al-Shabab militant group.
Several people including Al-Shabab operatives and crude weapons have been seized in Mogadishu in a concerted operations conducted by the police officers and their intelligence counterparts.
