WAJIR – Professionals from the Waqle community have endorsed FCPA Hussein Hassan, the current Wajir County Head of Treasury, for the Deputy Governor position ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Speaking during a consultative meeting held in Wajir town, the professionals described Hussein Hassan as a competent, visionary, and development-oriented leader with a proven track record in public finance management and county administration.

The group said his experience in managing county finances and his commitment to transparency and accountability make him the most suitable candidate to deputize and help steer Wajir County towards economic growth and improved service delivery.

community believes Hussein possesses the leadership qualities needed to unite residents and champion development across all sectors.

“We have confidence in FCPA Hussein Hassan because he has demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and dedication while serving as the County Head of Treasury. Wajir needs leaders who understand governance and prudent management of public resources,” he said.

Another professional, sadik, noted that Hussein has remained accessible to the people and has consistently supported initiatives aimed at empowering youth, women, and professionals within the county.

The endorsement is expected to boost Hussein Hassan’s political standing as political realignments begin to take shape ahead of the 2027 elections.

Speaking after receiving the endorsement, Hussein Hassan thanked the Waqle professionals for their trust and confidence in his leadership.
