Its important to recognize that each region typically has its own political party that represents its interests and concerns. The only notable exception to this trend is Northern Kenya, where we have historically faced challenges in establishing a political identity that is distinctly our own.

In the past, our community has often found itself fragmented, aligning with various political parties that primarily represent other communities. This division has stemmed from the lack of a dedicated political party that truly reflects our values and aspirations.

However, we are fortunate to have a leader like His Excellency Ali Roba, who has taken significant steps to address these issues.

Under his leadership, UDM has emerged as a strong political entity that not only advocates for the needs of the Somali region but also fosters unity among our people. We owe a great deal of gratitude to him and his team for their commitment to providing solutions that resonate with our community.

In Northern Kenya, the sentiment is clear: we do not accept any political party other than UDM. This is not merely a matter of preference; it is a reflection of our collective identity and the need for representation that aligns with our interests.

For those of us in Garissa County and the lager Northern kenya, the idea of promoting the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is not just unpopular; it is fundamentally unacceptable.

It is akin to selling pork in a mosque—an act that goes against our values and beliefs. Our loyalty lies with UDM, and we stand united in our commitment to support a party that truly represents us and our aspirations for the future.

UDM stands as the only savior for the people of Northern kenya.
