MOGADISHU-Somalia’s South West regional State president Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Lafta Gareen has arrived in Mogadishu to participate in the scheduled National consultative council meeting called for by Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble days after stating that he will boycott.
Other regional State president have already made to the Capital Mogadishu to attend the forum where talks centred on elections will be brought to the fore.
According to the Spokespersons of Prime Minister Mohamed Ibrahim Moalimu, preparations are in too gear for the meeting that is set to kick off in the coming days in Mogadishu.
This comes amid political tiff between president Mohamed Abdullahi and Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble after the president announced he had suspended the powers of the PM over alleged failure of speeding up elections and corruption after the PM was accused of grabbing land belonging to the National Army in Liido Beach accusations Roble has distanced himself from and instead blamed President Farmajo of obstructing elections.
