MOGADISHU-Somalia cabinet on Thursday condemned the coup attempt that happened on Monday when troops loyal to president Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo barred the Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble and his cabinet from entering and accessing their offices.
Through his Spokesman, Mohamed Ibrahim Moalimu, PM Roble said the cabinet meeting deliberating on the current political, security and electoral situation.

Addressing journalists affer the meeting, Information Minister Osman Dubbe the council expressed their concerns about the incident and unanimously agreed to condemn the failed coup attempt.
Dubbe said Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble had appointed a commission of five members look into the incident and bring back a comprehensive report.
President Mohamed Abdullahi had on Monday suspended the powers of Prime Minister Mohamed Roble and accused him of failing to conclude the ongoing elections and deviating from his role to completing and managing elections in the country.
The president also accused PM of graft after allegations emerged that Roble had grabbed s land belonging to the military in Liido Beach.
However, in response PM Roble denied the accusations and accused the president of or orchestrating a ” coup attempt” after the Prime Minister was denied entry into his office located within the presidential palace.
