Kenya is a major troop contributing country to Somalia and Kenya Defence Forces ( KDF) have helped liberate strategic towns in the Horn of Africa Nation from the grips of Al-Shabab militants.
Kenya is set to begin dispatching more troops to Somalia in the coming days following a meeting in Mogadishu between the leaders of the Frontline countries in a new front aimed at scaling up the ongoing Federal government of Somalia efforts to eradicating the Al-qaeda affiliate group from the country.
