Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and his delegation have on Wednesday arrived in Baidoa, where the meeting of the National Consultative Council is set to take place.
The President Mohamud and his delegation were warmly welcomed by the President of the South West State, Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed, officials at the Federal and State Government level and sections of the members of the Public at the Shaati-Guduud Airport in Baidoa.

Galmudug state leader Ahmed Abdi Kariye, also arrived in Baidoa.
Hirshabelle State leader Government Ali Gudlawe Hussein and a delegation led by him also touched down at the Shaati-Guduud airport in a bid to participate in the National Consultative Council meeting between the Federal Government and Member States and Banadir Region which is opening is scheduled to begin on Thursday.
The National Consultative Forum will discuss the structure of the national security, the process of federalization of finance, elections at the federal and state levels.
Also, the President of the Republic and the Heads of State Governments are set to bring to the fore important plans for the process of governance and the development of the country.
