The international partners today joined the ongoing National Consultative meeting which started on Monday and is attended by Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble and attended by Federal Member States presidents and is meant to course cirrect the ongoing elections.
Prime minister Roble pledged to speed up the elections and enhance the security of the exercise in the midst of tiff between him and the president.

The NCC also held meeting with council of presidential candidates to hear their voices and absorb their views on how to expedite the elections.

The National Consultative Council meeting had started in Mogadishu on Monday after facing challenges of its start on 27th December following the alleged ouster bid by President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo have on the Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble over corruption and grabbing of Naval land.
The meeting is attended by all Federal Member States presidents and chaired by Mohamed Roble and will touch on accelerating elections, improving electoral procedures and agreed upon final schedule.
