BELEDWEYNE– Governor Ali Jayte has vehemently opposed his dismissal letter as the Governor of Hiiraan region issued at midnight by the President of Hirshabelle Ali Gudlawe. Ali Jayte who held a press conference in Baladweyne boycotted his ousting saying that from today there will be no Hirshabeelle state in Hiiraan.
“From today Hiiraan region has withdrawn from Hirshabeelle state, I belief Hirshabeelle will go with the waves. I declare that from today we will follow the path of completing the building of Hiiraan state which we agreed with the professionals,local elders and the larger community of Hiiraan” said Ali Jayte.
He further said that they will close the air space and the earth from anyone affiliated to Hirshabeelle and that they will not have access to Hiiraan region.
“From today I declare that no one from Hirshabeelle can come to Hiiraan,we will close our airspace and earth and that we will shot down any aeroplane that defies this decree” said Governor Jayte.
Despite that it’s not known the next move President Ali Gudlawe will make concerning the Governor’s rejection and his new utterances of rallying the people of Hiiraan region to secede from Hirshabeelle and form Hiiraan state.
