NAIROBI – Former Garissa Woman MP Anab Subow Gure, Former Wajir Deputy governor Ahmed Ali Muktar, and Former Kuwait Ambassador to Kenya Mohamed Mahat have made a shortlist of 224 candidates selected to fill the position Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS).
In a list published by the Public Service Commission (PSC) on its website, the positions attracted 5,183 applications.

“Pursuant to the provisions of Article 132(4)(a) of the Constitution and Section 30 of the Public Service Commission Act, 2017, the Commission invited applications from suitably qualifed for the position of Chief Administrative Secretary in the print media and the Public Service Commission website on 13th October, 2022. The advert attracted 5,183 applications,” the advert reads.
Mohamed Ahmed Arai, Abdirahman Ali Hassan, Nimo Hajji, Mohamed Aden, and Ethila Mohamud are also among those on the list.
The shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at the PSC office in Nairobi starting on 1st March, 2023.
The interview schedule showing the date and time for each candidate is accessible on the PSC website.
Candidates are required to bring originals of their national identity card, academic and professional certificates, supporting documents and testimonials, and clearances from various bodies such as KRA, HELB, EACC, DCI and CRB.
The PSC has also asked members of the public to avail any credible information of interest relating to any of the shortlisted candidates through sworn affidavits or online submissions to the PSC by 28th February, 2023.
