KISMAYO– African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) Police concluded a specialists mentorship training for nine Somali Police Force officers in Dhobley town, Jubbaland State.
The mentorship was spearhead by Dhobley team leader CSP Mathias Yevugah.
The workshop focused on strengthening the officers’ skills in key policing areas, particularly exhibit management, crucial for effective law enforcement and judicial operations.
According to a ATMIS, Somali security forces officers who benefitted from the training thanked the AU forces for their tireless efforts to uplifting their skills and knowledge.

“We truly appreciate the ATMIS trainers’ commitment and expertise. The exhibit management techniques we’ve acquired will contribute to policing duties more efficiently,” said Somali police officer Abdikarin Korane.
ATMIS regularly carries out training for Somali security forces to enhance their capacity.
