Officers from the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) Police Community Policing unit on Monday held meeting with with Somali Police Force Deputy Community Policing Director Capt. Faliye Farxaan in Mogadishu.
The meeting deliberated on the evaluation of office equipment and plan on a new Community Policing conference hall to strengthen Somali Police community engagement.

Both highlighted the need for heightened cooperation in a bid to combat terrorism and other criminal activities taking place within the country.
They team also visited the proposed site at Harmarweyne Police Station for further evaluation.
ATMIS and Somali Police Force jointly collaborate in concerted efforts aimed at restoring peace and stability in Somalia.
