RIYADH– Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale on Saturday attended the 2nd Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) defence ministers meeting in the country’s capital, Riyath.
The meeting in Riyadh brought Defense Ministers from member states which Kenya is a member, and during the second meeting they reaffirmed the commitment of their countries to coordinate and unite efforts to stand against terrorism and curb its dangers and emphasized the importance of the joint efforts.
CS Duale who was accompanied to the meeting by Col. Aden Mohamed, the Kenyan representative at the Islamic Military Counter-Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) and Col. Benson Njogu also held bilateral discussion with Saudi Deputy Defense Minister, Prince Abdulrahman Al-Muqr.

On his part Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defense and Chairman of lIMCTC Defense Ministers Council announced Saudi Arabia’s support for IMCTC’s Initiatives Fund with 100 million Riyal.
“in addition to the Kingdom’s support for 46 training programs across counterterrorism domains as a contribution by the Kingdom, along with its fellow member states for the implementation of IMCTC’s initiatives.” Said Prince Khalid.
