TAKABA- Mandera West Member of Parliament Adan Haji Yusuf on Thursday presided over the launch of 2023/2024 bursary program for this constituency.
Speaking in Takaba town, when he presided over the launch of the bursary MP Adan Haji said Education is the cornerstone of progress, and through the bursary program, and this his investing in the future of mandera West.
“In our continuous effort to support education and empower our youth, I launched the 2023/24 Bursary Program with a budget allocation of 35 Million shillings. Education is the cornerstone of progress, and through this bursary program, we are investing in the future of Mandera West.” Said MP Adan Haji.

The legislator also witnessed the groundbreaking ceremony of the construction of Dandu girls Secondary school, Prior to this development, the girls had been utilizing the Dandu Madrassa as their educational institution.
“It is with great pleasure that I initiated the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Dandu Girls Secondary School. This significant step was taken in response to the pressing need for proper educational facilities for the young girls in our community.” Said MP Haji.
The second term legislator who is passionate about education said with the commencement of Dandu Girls Secondary it will ensure every girl in Dandu will have access to quality education in a conducive environment.
The MP Also commissioned Dandu Junior Secondary School, an institution meant to serve as a platform for nurturing young minds and preparing them for future challenges.
