NAIROBI– Hamse Warfa, Senior Adviser for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights at the US State Department has on Wednesday afternoon arrived in Nairobi, Kenya.
He was received at Jommo Kenyatta International Airport ( JKIA) by a host of members of parliament led by Kamukunji MP Yussuf Hassan.
It was a pleasure to welcome Hamse Warfa, a Senior Adviser for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights, at the US State Department in Washington DC, at JKIA in Nairobi this afternoon.

The MPs included Yakub Adow, MP for Bura, his Wajir South counterpart Mohamed Adow, Ummulkheir Kassim, Woman Representative for Mandera County and Ahmed Abubakr Twalib, Nominated MP.
Others were Garissa Woman Representative Udgoon Siyad, Mohamed Abdikheir, MP for Lafey and his Lagdera counterpart Mohamed Abdikadir
Warfa is expected to hold series of meetings with Kenya’s top government officials in a bid to foster the cooperation between the US and Kenya.
The senior US government official has for the last few days been in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu where he met with top government officials including the Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre to streamline the working relations between the two countries.
