Somali Finance Minister Dr Elmi Mohammed Nur is in Morocco for the Finance Ministers meeting.
Dr. Nur on Saturday participated in the meeting of the 14th regular session of the Council of Arab Finance Ministers.in Rabat, Morocco.
According to a statement posted on his Twitter handle, the Minister said he discussed Somalia’s economic reform progress and called on Arab Finance Ministers and financial institutions to bolster the support to the Federal government underscoring that the continued aid will be pivotal in debt relief process.

The meeting is being held on the framework of the joint annual meetings of Arab financial bodies.
The annual joint Finance Ministers conference is happening under the auspices of the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI.
The opening session of the meeting was dogged by a Royal message from HM the King to the participants in this event.
Aziz Akhannouch who is the Head of government read the message on behalf of the King.
This is the sixth time the country in North Africa has had the honor of hosting these Joint meetings.
The Majesty thanked the distinguished heads and members of the delegations taking part in the 2023 Annual Joint Meetings of Arab Financial Ministers.
