MOGADISHU-Somalia Minister of Finance Bihi Egeh has on Wednesday held meeting with the UK Ambassador to Somalia Mike Nithavrianakis in the National capital Mogadishu.
They discussed a wide range of issues including strengthening the deep-rooted relationship between the two countries
The meeting also revolved around Federal Government of Somalia’s economic agenda, financial governance and debt relief.

The Ambassador tweeted that the British government is committed to championing debt relief for Somalia further asserting that they fully support the Horn of Africa Nation ‘s ambition to reach HIPC completion point.
The Minister expressed gratitude on behalf of the Somali government on the continuous support they receive from the UK government highlighting the significance of bolstering of the support.
The UK Envoy on his part underscored the progress made by Somalia in different facets including debt relief and ongoing war against Al-Shabaab militant group.
