MOGADISHU-Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre has on Sunday received the new Ethiopian Ambassador to Somalia, Mukhtar Mohamed Ware.
The meeting between the two officials took place at the office of the Somali PM office in the National capital Mogadishu.
They discussed strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries in the areas of security and the fight against the Al- Qaeda affiliate group – Al-Shabab.

Somalia and Ethiopia have enjoyed good relations since former President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo came to power in 2017.
Ethiopia is a major troop contributor to the African Transition Mission ( ATMIS) that has helped liberate strategic towns in the Horn of Africa Nation.
The two countries have in last year November concluded a memorandum of understanding in intelligence cooperation.
The two countries also cooperation in the Fields of Transport, trade and economy.
