MOGADISHU– Somali soldiers who completed military training in Egypt have on Monday returned to the capital Mogadishu.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud received the troops at the Aden Abdulle International Airport.
The troops are expected to join the ongoing war against Al-Shabaab which have gained momentum.
Addressing the soldiers at the airport, President Mohamud urged them to exhibit professionalism in their duties.

He also expressed his faith in the capabilities of the soldiers to deal and combat with the militant group.
The soldiers are drawn from different denomination including sea and land.
He urged them to be at the forefront of fighting Al-Shabaab terrorists around the nation.
