Mogadishu, Somalia – The leader of SSC-Khaatumo State, Abdulqadir Aw-Firdhiye, held a meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, Wang Yi, on Saturday in the capital, Mogadishu.
The meeting focused on enhancing the relationship between SSC-Khaatumo and China, particularly in areas of development, infrastructure, and mutual cooperation.

During the meeting, Ambassador Wang reaffirmed China’s commitment to supporting Somalia’s progress and expressed his country’s readiness to implement major development projects across the nation.
He specifically highlighted China’s interest in initiating key development programs in the SSC-Khaatumo region.
According to the SSC-Khaatumo Presidency, the meeting marks a positive step toward deeper collaboration between the two sides and reflects growing international engagement with the SSC-Khaatumo administration.
