GARISSA – Suspected Alshabab on Friday killed Two police officers and injured three others in Daadab Garissa County.
The officers lost their life after the vehicle they were traveling in ran over an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) along Garissa-Daadab Road.
Garissa Police commander Thomas Ngeiywa confirmed the incident and said they are tracking the perpetrators.
“The officers were traveling to Garissa town on their way from Daadab when they were attacked” said Mr Ngeiywa.

Last week a similar attack happened, When Three police officers died when the vehicle they were travelling in ran over an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Garissa County.
Officials say that say the officers drawn from the Border Patrol Unit of the Administration were enroute to Garissa town when their vehicle was hit with the IED that had been planted on the road by suspected Al-Shabaab militants.
