Businessman and Philanthropist Mr Ahmed Noor alias “Dakawou” has passed on.
Ahmed until his death, was Masjid Rahma Hurlingham Commitee Chairman and the proprietor of Premier Hospital Mombasa.
Confirming his death to Frontier Online, Isiolo County deputy Governor Mr Abdi Issa said Mr Ahmed Dakawou died today in Mombasa of heart attack and described him as a humble and down to earth person.
A number of politicians and top government officials led by Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary Najib Balala, Former Garissa Governor Nadhif Jamaa, Eldas MP Adan Keynan, and Jamia Mosque deputy Imam Sheikh Jamaludin Osman conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family and friends of the deceased whom they described as astute businessman and a person who helped the less privileged people in the society.
It is with the great sadness that I have learnt of the passing on of Mr. Ahmed Noor Dakawou.

Burial arrangement is scheduled to take place in Nairobi as his body is expected to be airlifted to Nairobi for final interment tomorrow at Langata Muslim Cemetery.
