NAIROBI– Renowned Muslim cleric Mufti Ismail Menk has concluded his tour of Kenya after giving lectures at Adams Arcade Mosque, along Ngong Road.
The sheikh who started his lecture at Jamia Mosque Nairobi on Friday gave lecture on “Echoes of Enlightenment “ and also led Friday prayers at the same mosque.
He also visited Parklands Mosque in Parklands, Al-Huda Mosque in South B, Masjid-Rahma in Hurligham, and Finally Adams Arcade mosque in Ngong Road.

In his lectures Mufti Menk urged youths to improve on their values and morals.
“There is a lot of challenge that people face and sometimes you have addictions to different vices, you have drug addiction, you have pornographic addiction, you have intoxicants, you have habits that are negative. The youth when they realise the engligntment, they begin to improve in their values and morals and habits” said the Sheikh.
Muslim leaders led by Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale, Former tourism minister Najib Balala, Mombasa-based businessman and politician Suleiman Shabal, Garissa Governor Nathif Jamaa and Chief Khadi Abdul Halim welcomed mufti Menk to Kenya.

The visit by mufti Menk to Kenya is his second, but first one it’s kind that he gave lectures at different mosques across Nairobi.
In 2014 and 2017 Mufti Ismail Menk was named one of the 500 Most Influential Muslims in the world by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre of Jordan.
The prominent cleric was also awarded a Global Leadership Award in Social Guidance by the KSBEA Awards in 2015.
