The former long serving majority leader also spoke candidly about the profiling of the Somali community in Kenya which he said is unwarranted stating that the Kenya Kwanza government led by President William Ruto will treat all communities equal and do away with the profiling of the Somali community.
He explained that the Somalis hold big portfolios across the World from the US where a Somali woman is a Congress member and Canada where the Minister of Housing is a Somali.
” I think there is a narrative and perception about Somalis in this country; Somalis are not are they in Djibouti, Mogadishu in Somalia, Somalis have a Congress woman in the U.S, there is a Somali Minister of Housing in Canada and so Somalis wherever they are, the citizenship they belong Is where they are loyal to.”said Duale.
