MOGADISHU– A high delegation led by Somalia’s Deputy Prime Minister Salah Jama have on Wednesday landed at Lusaka, the National capital of Zambia.
The delegation was warmly received upon arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport by high profile officials from Zambian government
The Deputy Prime Minister and his intinary will represent the Federal government of Somalia in the ongoing COMESA region meeting.

Already the Somali Deputy Foreign Affairs Issack Mursal is in Zambia attending the meeting.
Mr Mursal on Tuesday attended the 18th meeting of COMESA Ministers of Foreign Affairs
The meeting which began on Tuesday discussed challenges facing the COMESA region such as peace, security and climate were the main agendas discussed in the meeting.
Discussions of elections held in COMESA region since last summit also featured in the meeting.
The Deputy Prime Minister and the Somali delegation will tomorrow attend the summit of the 22nd COMESA Heads of State and Government Summit where the report of the Ministers’ meeting will be presented.
