JEDDAH– Somali Foreign Affairs Minister Abshir Omar Jamaa Huruse has on Thursday attended the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) emergency meeting on the recent unfolding Gaza situation.
The emergency extraordinary meeting of the OIC Executive Committee at the ministerial level happened in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
They discussed range of issues primarily the escalating conflict in Gaza pitting between the Israelites and Palestinians over the last few days.
Minister Huruse and the other OIC ministers called for a immediate ceasefire highlighted emphasis on the necessity of holding Israel accountable and protecting the Palestinians according to a statement from the ministry.
