JOWHAR-The Family of the 15-year-old girl who was gang-raped by allegedly 10 Somali government soldiers in Janale, Lower Shabelle region have vowed not to bur iny their daughter until they get justice from the Somali government.
The victim Sahro Ali Mohamud succumbed to injuries she sustained from the ordeal according to health officials in Marka who said the girl died of haemorrhage and severe wounds succoured in her genitals
Addressing the media, the dreary father of girl, Ali Mohamud Kulmiye urged the Somali government to come in and ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book.
“I call upon the Somali government and the concerned authorities to serve us Justice and ensure that the rapists are brought to book.” said Mohamud.
The mother of the girl, said she got wind that some of the suspects who were arrested and put under custody were later released and said she wants the offenders be executed according to Islamic Sharia.
The deceased died on 9th of December and her lifeless body still remains in the hospital for the 7th day as the family stand their ground and insist that she will not be interred until they are served justice by the Somali government.
