MOGADISHU-Somalia National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) says Ex- Al- Shabaab spokesman Muktar Robow locally known as “Abu Mansuur” is in stable condition and that his health is well and is attending classes for his Masters programs in the University.
The Intel agency further said that they incur a lot of expenses in the maintenance and daily upkeep of the Robow and his close family members were allowed on routine bases to check on the welfare of their kin.
This comes after the Somali interior minister Abdullahi Mohamed Nur gave NISA acting boss Yassin Farey a 48 ultimatum to submit a full and comprehensive report regarding the well-being of the former Al- Shabaab convict after he said he received concerns from relatives and family members about the safety and health of Robow.
Robow was arrested in 2018 by officers from the Somalia intelligence in Baidoa while running for the president of South West regional State and has been under the custody of the Intelligence agency.
