MOGADISHU- Chinese embassy in Mogadishu has on Friday handed over military vehicles including Armoured automobiles to Somali National Army.
Chinese Ambasador to Somalia Mr Fei Shengchao handed over the vehicles to Defence Minister Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur and Somali National Army Commander Gen. Odawa Yusuf Rage.
According to sources, the consignment included 20 off-road vehicles, five water wagons, five refuelers and five high mobility field ambulances.
The delivery also included five General Purpose Containers whose contents remained unclear.
Somali Defense Minister Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur said he is grateful for the donation from the Chinese government.

Addressing journalists on Thursday in the capital Mogadishu, the Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Xue Bing said China will be provideing emergency relief assistance to the Federal government of Somalia and other countries hard hit by the drought in the Horn of Africa.
The Chinese Special Envoy for Horn of Africa Affairs, Amb. Xue bing who held meeting with in #Mogadishu with President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo and Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble.
They discussed strengthening the long standing relations between the two countries.
