MOGADISHU-Somalia’s Lower House Speaker Sheikh Adan Madobe on Wednesday received at his office, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Somalia Ahmed Binu Mohamed Al- Muwallad.

The meeting between the two officials took place in the National capital Mogadishu.

The duo discussed a variety of issues including strengthening cooperation between the two countries.

Talks also majored on the current drought situation in the country and how the Saudi’s government can contribute to the ongoing humanitarian response to the vulnerable people affected by the ongoing devastating drought.

Speaker Madobe thanked the government of Saudi for its continued support to Somalia people and pledged the bolstering of further cooperation between the two countries.
On his part, Ambassador Al- Muwallad assured the Speaker of Saudi’s government commitment to enhancing relations between the two Nations.
