MOGADISHU-Somalia Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble had on Friday night convened a virtual meeting with Federal Member State presidents ( FMS) amidst growing concerns and complaints about the ongoing parliamentary elections which has been allegedly marred by irregularities.
PM Roble after the meeting dismissed the 7 member committee of the Elections Dispute Resolution Committee including its chairman following widespread criticism and concerns over the Committee’s handling and management of election by clans and the council of presidential candidates.

The meeting of PM Roble and the FMS leaders comes hot on the heels of a planned National Conference called for by the union of opposition presidential candidates to chart the way forward on the current stand-off that has engulfed the ongoing House of representatives elections.
The council decried about what they termed as “naked riggings” and violations of the electoral regulations accusing the the Electoral commission and the Prime Minister Mohamed Roble of colluding with Villa Somalia and failure to hear their grievances on holding a transparent and free and fair elections.
