NAIROBI – Somalia’s interior Security Minister Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Doodishe is in New Delhi, India to attend the 90th INTERPOL General Assembly in New Delhi.
Doodishe is among high profile delegates participating in the Assembly on behalf of the Somali government.
Somali Police force Chief Gen. Abdi Hassan Hijar is accompanying the minister.
The 90th INTERPOL General Assembly kicked off in New Delhi on Tuesday and was opened by India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Some 700 delegates comprising of Ministers, police chiefs, heads of national central bureaus and senior police officers. representing 160 countries are participating in this year’s INTERPOLGA.

The meeting is being held in India after a gap of 25 years after it was last held in 1997.
