MOGADISHU – Somali National Security Forces (SNSF) soldier has been sentenced to death by a Somali military court in Mogadishu.

The execution of the NISA soldier took place in the town of Baled Hawo in Gedo region, and the relatives of the two boys who were killed by the soldier were present in the square.

The executed soldier was identified as Mohamed Ali Hussein, who killed two youths watching a football match in Belet Xaawo last month, and was recently sentenced to death by a military court which has been carried out today.

The killing of the Somali military court comes at a time when government soldiers have recently killed innocent Somali youths.

The latest killing being a final year medical student attached to Aden Abdulle hospital Mariam Mohamed Hirsi who was buried in Moqadishu on Wednesday after succumbing to gun shot wounds she sustained when a police man in Forensa junction in Wardhigley district opened fire to clear traffic congestion on 11th December in the capital Moqadishu
