Somalia Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre, is participating in the annual meeting of the African Development Bank in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
The conference, which has brought together by leaders from the African continent, will focus on mobilizing private business financing to play a key role in efforts to address the effects of climate change.
PM Barre today participated in a scientific debate with African leaders on the challenges facing Africa in the world economic structure and the role of international development banks that can be part of a sustainable solution to the problems facing Africa.

The Prime Minister shared with the various leaders who attended the forum how his government has made significant progress in economic development and dealing with climate change, to avoid frequent floods and prolonged droughts.
He mentioned that countries recovering from conflicts are trying to build back up like Somalia are facing many problems in order to adapt to the world economic system.
The theme will be centred around encouraging the private sector to fund climate-friendly and green projects in Africa, according to the AfDB.
