JORDAN– Somali Defence Minister Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur who is on official working visit in Jordan has on Monday held meeting with Chief of Staff of Jordanian Army G. Yousef Huneiti .
The discussions between the two top officials centred on strengthening the relationship between the two countries in different facets including Security and diplomatic ties.
According to a statement posted on his Twitter handle, the Somali Defence Minister said they also deliberated on the fight and combat against terrorism.

Mr. Nur disclosed to Huneiti the ongoing onslaught against Al-Shabaab militant group by the Federal government which has so far borne fruits.
During his stay in Jordan, The Minister will also hold talks with his counterpart Bisher Khasawneh to discuss cooperation in the areas of enhancing the capacity and capabilities of Somalia National Army .
Somalia government has in recent months stepped up its efforts to persuade the international community and its friends to support the ongoing warfare against the Al-qaeda affiliate group which is in a critical stage.
