TANZANIA– Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre who is in working visit on Tuesday held meeting with Victoria Kwakwa, the Vice President of the World Bank for Eastern and Southern Africa, on the sidelines of the important Africa Human Capital Heads of State Summit in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania today.
They two officials had a wide- range of engagement taking stock of the bilateral cooperation between Somalia and the World Bank.
Prime Minister Hamza highlighted the need to continue supporting the Horn of Africa Nation in its efforts for state building process, debt relief and development projects.

Ms Kwakwa underscored the unfaltering commitment by the bank to the Federal government in a bid to ensure it succeeds in its pursuit to institutional development, governance and mitigation of the biting drought and climate change.
The World Bank has been involved in helping the East African Nation in facets of strengthening government institutions, debt relief and implementation of development projects.
