BAIDOA– Somalia’s South West State President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen has on Monday received at the Presidential Palace in the administrative capital of Baidoa, a high level delegation from the United Nations Population Fund( UNFPA).
The delegation was led by Niyi Ojuolape, the resident representative of the agency in Somalia.
The discussions covered variety of issues including strengthening the cooperation between the organization and the regional State.

The UNFPA’s development projects in the State including vocational training program for the youth and healthcare services also featured prominently in the discussions.
The organization tweeted that their representatives and the Laftagareen tackled bolstering the Health care services supported by the organization in the region.
They further highlighted the importance of increasing support to Gender and Youth in the region.
