NAIROBI– A Coffee restaurant has for the first time organized an informing and engaging Social event for its potential customers in a bid to bring them onboard on the evolving job market with advancements in Technology.
Located in Timau Plaza, Off Agwinks Kondhek Road, Nairobi Kilimani in a serene, quiet and dazzling ambience in the suburbs of Kilimani area Nairobi’, Kesh Kesh restaurant hosted an Casiriye discussion that brought together reputable and well thought members of the society.
The discussions which was majorly centred on leveraging technology to bridge the education gap in the Horn of Africa Nation drew insightful contributions from the high level, wide read and ingenious panelists with remarkable expertise in vast arrays of Technology and Education.
The Speaker included Abdinoor AliMahdi, the Founder of M- Lugha, Dr. Hodan Isse Clinical assistant emeritus at Finance and Economics school of Management university of Buffalo and Dr. Abdinoor Sheikh Mohamed, a former Somali Education Minister.
Firstly, Dr. Abdinoor emphasized the importance of a secure society where students can learn with out security hitches and teachers who can deliver instructions so that students can learn basic curriculum.
“We have to make sure that schools are secure and that students can travel between home and school freely and can come back.” he said.

He challenged the Somali Federal government to integrate the use of technology in the Education sector in a bid to improve the learners capabilities.
On her part, Dr. Hodan echoed the similar sentiments underlining the need to come up with home grown development for the thousands of youths languishing in the unemployment market asserting that the Somali government and the entire Job of Africa should embrace vocational training for the youth and exploit the available vast mineral resources in the continent.
“When I was growing up there was animal husbandry, teachers training schools, nursing schools, agriculture schools, that was vocational schools and that was providing nof only employment for the youth but technical aspects of all the productive resources.” said Dr. Hodan
The participants of the events were not also left behind as they augmented and pitched on their contributions coupled with questions on the subject matter at hand.
On the sidelines of the event, Frontier Online caught up with the proprietor and Chief Executive Officer Rowda Olad who expounded on the journey and motive behind of setting up this establishment in the bustling capital city of Kenya-Nairobi.
Rowda explained that she came up with this outlet not only to for entrepreneural purposes but to create and cultivate a culture of social integration, knock up culture diversity, information and expertise sharing.
“Our cafe is more than just a place to grab a bite or drink. It’s a creative hub where people can come together to share their knowledge and expertise, and where diversity and culture are celebrated.” she said

Ms. Olad further delineated that they purchased the hub couple of years ago with the sole aim of creating an ideal space for people to exchange ideas and wisdom and solenmize their diversity.
“We purchased Kesh Kesh Cafe two years ago with the intention of creating an ideal space that fosters both wisdom and creativity, and where people can learn from each other and celebrate different cultures while enjoying tasty food and drinks.” said Rowda.
Followers and customers of KeshKesh Cafe who have interest in societal topical issues can catch discussion atleast once every month with restaurant hosting different experts from diverse fields.
