SERBIA– Gen Sulub Ahmed Firin, Somali Police Commissioner has on Monday departed the country for Serbia.

Gen. Sulub was escorted to Aden Abdulle International Airport in the capital Mogadishu by Senior somali police officials.

This is following the reception of official invitation from his Serbian.

He is expected to hold high level tslks with his counterpart and also meet with senior government officials.

Somalia and Serbia maintain diplomatic relations established in 1960 when the Horn of Africa Nation gained its independence from Italy.

The two countries have also partnered in several development projects that are beneficial to both sides.
